Neil was, until his retirement, a manager in Local Government, helping a large team supporting people with disabilities. This involved considerable work alongside Health Service Professionals – usually, but not always, a positive experience.
Before that he studied Psychology at The University of Hull, learning, as his Professor put it, to “exercise systematic doubt” in between sessions in the Students Union!
More recently, he has become involved with PNH following his wife’s diagnosis, then treatment with Eculizumab, in early 2017.
Neil has already found the local Support Group very useful.
He enjoys family time, performing and listening to live music, gardening, walking, camping and finding nice rural pubs.
