In 1997 Victoria had acute Aplastic Anaemia. After receiving treatments she made a full recovery. She developed PNH shortly after. Between 2013 and 2015 she represented PNH patients at the Genetic Alliance UK leading up to PNH Support registration as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2015.
She dedicated a decade and a half of her professional career to the interior design industry. She ran her own design studio covering all aspects of interior design from concept to completion. She worked for private clients and developers in the UK and abroad. She also complimented her design work with part-time tutoring on a variety of courses at the university level. Before embarking on a career in design, she worked in the investment industry for six years.
Victoria is a dedicated yoga practitioner, an avid traveller with a preference to explore different, sometimes remote, places. She loves hiking, staying active, and anything that has an artistic element to it.
